As a global leader in the retail industry for travellers, Lagardère operates 4850 stores specializing in Travel Essentials, Duty Free & Fashion and Foodservice in airports, railway stations and other platforms in 39 countries and territories.
In their position of a leading retailer, Lagardère aimed at modernizing their management processes to eliminate the risks of fragmented data and inaccurate decision-making. The team was facing operational inefficiencies because of the lack of real-time consolidated view of the business. Lagardère struggled to provide consistent and personalized customer experience since inventory management was challenging and the insights into consumer preferences were limited. They required a solution that would strengthen their connection with customers, allowing them to better understand modern market demands and swiftly adapt to them.
The solution consists of the implementation of the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics NAV and the retail management extension - LS Central. Lagardère trusted the expertise of the highly skilled Navtech team for their ERP transformation. The tailored solution covers every single need of the Lagardère team to manage their operations from one single unified platform. The solution also includes Solution architecture & Development of standalone stores and franchise concept, press management, EDI Invoice matching, Bank Payment System Management, EFT integration, SharePoint integration, full system optimization and automation of posting schedules and night procedures for an extremely huge database (4 TB). Furthermore, the Navtech team ensured continuous development of new modules and functionalities as well as customer support to guarantee a seamless Go-Live and post Go-Live phase. The all-in-one ERP solution also includes the support of local subsidiaries in Romania and Bulgaria since 2011.
